ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) President and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s acquittal plea in Toshakhana vehicle reference is set to be heard today.

Accountability court’s Judge Nasir Javed Rana will hear the acquittal plea of Nawaz Sharif.

Nawaz Sharif’s counsel Qazi Misbah will present the arguments on the acquittal plea during the proceedings.

The hearing on acquittal plea of Nawaz Sharif in accountability court was slated for yesterday (Tuesday) but it couldn’t be heard due to public holiday.

On April 17, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) gave a clean chit to former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in the reference related to Toshakhana vehicles.
